Mural on the quai
This beautiful, muted painting is in the 5th on rue des Grands Degres, right above a restaurant I want to try.
I am always so happy to see things like this because I feel like they’re “survivors.” And they should survive!
Rose-colored glass
The slightly-tinted glass in the windows of the Musee Carnavalet enhanced the view of its courtyard gardens.
I like the geometric patterns in the glass and gardens.
Light for the Sun King
There’s opulence, and then there’s opulence. Versailles outdoes it all.
I enjoyed this view of the light chandelier against the intricate religious scenes above.
