Another survivor!

We stumbled across this pile of unused street signs in a Mairie de Paris building today.

I liked the look of the little sign graveyard.

Another lovely day on the Promenade Plantee found more new flowers blooming! This beautiful rose bush twisted around a trellis about halfway down the promenade.

Note the perfect bud in the middle of the cluster of roses.

One of our City Walks took us down the Cours Damoye near Bastille, which we never would have found on our own. This beautiful passage seems to be a world unto itself and completely French at the same time.

Au Rocher de Cancale is along the bustling market street Montorgeuil. Another survivor.

This beautiful, muted painting is in the 5th on rue des Grands Degres, right above a restaurant I want to try.

I am always so happy to see things like this because I feel like they’re “survivors.” And they should survive!

Noah and I took a walk along the Promenade Plantee today, and it’s finally flowering and looking the way I imagined it could!

We watched an older man with a camera taking pictures as well, and I felt some comradery with him.

I’m not exactly sure what this is, but it always intrigues me as I pass it. It graces a wall bordering the garden at Saint Germain des Pres. Anyway, I finally passed it on the perfect day for a picture.

I like the green patina on this old door in Grenoble. (Actually, it’s in La Tronche.)
